Aquarian Messenger is a story of personal transformation that traces mythology to its roots from a time where human beings lived in harmony with nature and every moment was spiritualized. Following Carl Jung’s exploration into the psychological and mystical teachings of the alchemists, a picture emerges revealing that commerce and technology have lured us away from ourselves, producing a mechanical human being where the individual disappears. Jung urged Western civilization to recognize we are not only the passive witnesses of our age and its sufferers, but also its makers. He challenged the West to make positive changes and felt that the Age of Aquarius was the right time in history where the alchemical path of the East will teach us to take back the negative projections we have misplaced onto other people, other races, countries and religions. The living alchemical myth is a fundamental stepping-stone that will lead us to the recognition that there is one earth and one global community. Audience Description This book will appeal to adult men and women, ages 40 and above, who are intrigued by the concepts of Self- and God-realization and are interested in the teachings handed down since the times of the Egyptians, Greek Neo-Platonists, Judeo-Christians, Gnostics, Alchemists, Buddhists and Eastern Mystics. Every reader who has studied religion, metaphysics, spirituality, 2012 prophesies, or is looking for tools that will help them make sense of their lives, will want to read this book. This book will help the reader gain new perspectives on current political and economic events and the powerful role each individual possesses in affecting positive global change. Audience Feedback Thank you for the chance to read your amazing and very impressive book! It's very scholarly and full of juicy information on a subject I've long been interested in. You've covered a lot of religious/spiritual territory and obviously put much research and thought into it. I like the way you add your own personal comments, questions, and understandings here and there. I like the part about how the Age of Aquarius represents a new beginning, a new spiritual challenge, and what was previously dictated by the Church is now being carried by the individual, so that we are each responsible for carrying our own vessel. It appears to be exactly what is happening, according to what I've been reading lately. I'd think your book would attract attention in this day and time. D. Victor, CA |
